What Counts as a Task
Task Definition
An improvement or automation task is defined as a discrete change, workflow improvement, integration, automation or reporting enhancement that can normally be designed and delivered within a few days of development work.
Examples include workflow improvements, document automation changes, reporting improvements, integrations between systems or smaller automation deployments.
Where a request represents a larger development project, system redesign or complex automation, the work can either be broken into multiple tasks delivered over several months or scoped and quoted separately as a project. This ensures the service remains predictable and prevents a single request from consuming the full capacity of the Legal Tech Team.
